Getting the right ring size is important. Because each In the Wrong Studio piece is made to order, resizing is not always possible. Taking the time to measure correctly ensures your piece fits the way it was intended to. We recommend using one of the three methods below for the most accurate result.

Sizing exchanges depend on the type of piece purchased. Staple Collection: Sizing exchanges are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Resizing is limited and not guaranteed. 1/1 Rings with Stones: Refunds are assessed case-by-case basis. These cannot be resized due to the stones set in the metal. Bespoke Pieces: Custom commissions cannot be resized unless agreed prior to production. Contact us before returning any item.

Use a ring that fits the exact finger you are ordering for. Place the ring on a flat surface. Measure the inner diameter (straight across the centre) in millimetres. Compare your measurement to our ring size chart in the downloadable guide. Important: Measure the inside edge to inside edge. Do not include the metal thickness. Measure more than once to confirm accuracy.

If you don’t have a printer, you can measure manually. Measure straight across the inside of the ring in millimetres. Match that number to the size conversion chart in the guide. Be precise. Even 0.5mm can affect fit.

Our printable ring sizer allows you to wrap and test sizing directly on your finger. Download and print the guide at 100% scale (do not resize to fit page). Cut out the sizer. Wrap it around your finger comfortably. Ensure it slides over the knuckle without forcing it. This method works well, but printing accuracy is critical.

For the most reliable result, visit a local jeweller. They can measure your finger in minutes using professional ring gauges. This is especially recommended if: You are unsure between two sizes The piece is wide or thick It is a gift

Fingers change size throughout the day. Measure when your hands are at a neutral temperature. Cold fingers shrink. Heat can cause swelling. Wider bands feel tighter than thin bands - consider sizing up slightly if you are between sizes. Measure the exact finger you plan to wear the ring on.
